Caffeine & Co-working #1 -Dandelion Communitea Cafe

Well hello!
Do you like tea? I like tea, and you know what else is awesome? Cupcakes and friendship. So, I thought I'd share a little about my recent tea shop adventures with you guys from a few weeks ago.

Enjoying a Pumpkin Spiced maple cupcake (Which was DELICIOUS!) while working on the next Pumpkin Spiced comic page. If that's not a recipe for success, I don't know what is.

When you work from home most of the time, It can be really easy to start to feel a little stir crazy. That's why I've been trying to get out once a week and explore a cute coffee shop. To be honest, lately I've been slacking. When I get busy I tend to have the bad habit of hermiting. However, with the amount of adorable coffee shops in the area, I think with a little push that habit might be easier to break than I thought.

I've lived in Orlando for around seven years. So it's kind of surprising that I've only ventured into the adorable Dandelion Communitea once before, maybe five years ago? Boy have I been missing out!

There's something really fun and inspiring about working in a new place, especially when in the company of a good friend. A few weeks ago Erin (purritopress) and I settled into a table for a few hours at the cafe, got artsy and caught up, both with each other and on our respective projects. Which seriously never fails to be a good time. <3

Where'd we go? Dandelion Community Cafe
What I wore: Hogwarts Alumni T, (Hufflepuffs ftw!) and jeans. Being causal, and showing my school spirit.

What I had: Pumpkin Maple Cupcake paired with the "Don't be chai" tea. (I've been dreaming about it ever since)

What I worked on: Bubbling/Coloring last friday's Pumpkin Spiced page. You can see the finished page here.

What was the shop like? Fun, eclectic and cozey, just outside of downtown:) However, I think we both had some guilt hanging out at a table during the insane lunch rush at noon

The verdict? I would totally go back! The delicious tea and cupcakes alone are worth a visit. :) Also, If you haven't yet, go check out Erin's work. She's super talented, and has some purrrr-fectly awesome new projects in the works.

xoxo Paige
