- Don't pick up the phone for drama queens-As soon as her name pops up on the caller i.d, you have a pretty good idea she's calling you to yell, complain, or gossip, Don't pick up the phone! This might seem a little harsh, but unless you have reason to believe your friend really needs you right now, it might not be worth the risk of drama.You need to de-stress before you can take on someone else's problems.
- Listen to new music there's something really exciting about hearing a song for the first time. Put on a new record, or create a new Pandora station and allow yourself to zone out for a bit.
- Yoga! Its relaxing, calming and good for you.
- Run a muck! Listen to the spice girls while going for a run
- Adventure with a friend Whether it's to play house in an Ikea, Shop till you drop, or simply meet for coffee call a friend and see if they want to hangout. Just make sure you leave your bad mood at home!
- Watch your favorite movie Some of my favorites? Singin' in the rain, Cry-baby, and Dr. Horrible..I'm kind of a geek for musicals.
- Be Cliche' Enjoy a face mask, bubble bath, glass of wine, or pint of ice cream.
- Enjoy a hot drink Perhaps some lavender tea?
