Hello <3
It's Monday and I'm sitting at my desk which is in desperate need of tidying. Sipping on coffee sweetened with honey, and eating leftover cookies from the sailor moon bridal shower I helped plan yesterday for my dearest friend. We made dresses with toilet paper, ate lots of food, had an water balloon fight, and sang "Happy Wedding to you!" while she cut the cake.
You know, just the usual things you do at a bridal shower... Maybe?
If ever there was proof of having a good weekend, my face hurting from smiling is definitely it. Now, I'm onto some much needed editing for the Frankenstein novel. I'm on chapter 8 of 15. detirminded to get this story out to beta-readers as soon as possible, and e-mailing with my favorite editor Jen (
wordswithjen) talking about all of the things! It's exciting, nerve wracking, and I am so pleased to finally be getting the ball rolling. Just maybe one more cookie first...
