Where did October go?

Time has been flying, It feels like I never really even got to enjoy Halloween in all it's spooky glory, and now suddenly we're already shopping for Christmas cards.

Truth be told...I am not ready to say goodbye to fall yet, and yes, even though we have a few weeks left still, It feels like it's going by so fast! Matt and I just picked up Christmas cards a few days ago, and the stores are already glittered with candy canes and plastic trees.

Even though I've been soaking in the holly jolly cheer, and am 1100% looking forward to the Grumpy Cat Christmas movie. I keep drifting back to thinking aboutThe CityArts Dia de los Muertos & Monster Factory Exhibit, Matt and I went to
Normally you'd think zombies want to eat people, but on Oct 15th at the cute gallery in downtown Orlando roles were reversed, and our noses filled with the scent of chocolate as we entered the gallery.
What I wore - Button down from Tatyana Boutique
Handmade Skirt (with a million petticoats layered!)
Bow- Handmade
"Check out of life sized chocolate zombies" the woman who greeted us at the door said. And my eyes fell upon a giant zombified Marilyn Monroe. Matt and I stared in disbelief and I realized why my nose was filled with the smell of chocolate the minute we walked through the door.

Probably the best smelling zombie ever. Should I be jealous of this?
The walls of the gallery where filled with a great variety of both cute, and creepy art, some works that where just plain beautiful. I snapped a few photos as we went along of some of my favorites to share with you. It was just such a cool creative show, with so much talent all around. I hope I can be apart of the next one. :)

Um, Can I jump into this painting and hug them both?
One of my favorite pieces, It took up the entire wall!

After strolling around the gallery we saw that they also had a stage and a gaggle of spooky vendors outside. A goofy (and i say that in the best way) band soon began to play...that was definitely suited for a kids birthday party crowd started their set out by rapping about math...it was fantastic.
We watched until the end and swing danced to the Spiderman theme song. Wonderful.

The night was rounded out with a performance by Phantamagoria that featured fire, dancing, and did I mention fire. I loved  it! Though, the low hanging tree branches + fire breathing made me so nervous!

Hope you all had an amazing spooky season! I'm just sad it went by so fast :( To be fair though, I guess I make every season at least a little spooky. Bwhahaha <3 Have a great weekend guys! And go get yourself a peppermint mocha. I won't judge...Just no eggnog yet, It's too early for that business. :p
xoxo Paige
