It's hard to talk about "Passion" without sounding like a rambling mess.

When I saw the submissions theme for Wonderly this month, I was overwhelmed with ideas. Originally I wanted to discuss "How to find your passion" But I realized, sitting down and mapping out what I wanted to say, I can't tell you that. No one can. Your life's passion might be hiding in plain sight, residing in a love or hobby you've always had. Or just a step away, waiting to be unlocked with a new experience or adventure. My passion has always been storytelling. But, I haven't always known it. To figure it out, I had to step back and take a look, ask myself "When I'm starting a new project, what's the most important thing?" The story. The characters most importantly. Even when I was designing hats (which I stopped doing, last year to focus on Pumpkin Spiced) the times I really enjoyed myself where when I could get lost in the artistry. "Who is the girl wearing it, What strange world does she come from, and where is she going?" The moment I stopped thinking like that, was the moment it lost all meaning.
No matter what I'm pouring my heart into, I'm a sucker for a good backstory.
