Being Productive (When you're feeling less than your best)
Last my husband drove me over to the dentist office to get
a cracked molar removed. I sat there, clutching a small stuffed
animal of "The Count" with my right hand, and though I won't
go into the details, It went well, and now I'm recovering.
Had dessert for breakfast, (tapioca pudding) and lots
and lots of water.
I've found myself more than anything just wanting to sleep
the day away. (and I have) But now it's 3:30
I'm feeling really guilty about
letting the day waste away. .
Here are some tips, if you're in the same boat!
- Sleep In! You deserve it.
- If you have the option, gather as many pillows, blankets you can find, and get cozy on the couch or bed. Why work at a stiff upright desk, if you don't have to?
- Put on your favorite movie or t.v show in the background. Normally, I would say to avoid this kind of thing. However! Anything that helps get your mind off feeling awful is okay in my book.
- If you're working from a computer, Turn down your screen brightness! You're way more likely to get a super bad migraine right now.
- Before snuggling into your new "work fort/cuddle cove" have all the necessary supplies near by, medicine, snacks, water, tissues, and an adorable stuffed animal!
Resting and your health is the absolute most important thing!
So, if you can't get your comic/blogpost up, make sure you post a
quick notice to your readers, saying when you'll be back, and what's
going on!
