What's your favorite song?

Hey Blog! 

It's been a while, I didn't mean to neglect you, just with Megacon and all. 

I kind of slipped into "artist hermit mode" . But no matter! I'm back and ready

 to talk about things and stuff. I've been thinking lately,

 Do you remember the first time you heard your favorite song? 

I do. I was walking to work, it was cold, my icy hands held a cup

of weak coffee that i got from the small store on property. But i didn't 

care that it tasted like bitter water. It was warm. and i was freezing. 

Pathetic really. How my mid western friends would laugh at me now. 

A Michigan native who used to go out into 10 degree weather in a tank top. 

Now after several years, buried under a thick wind breaker, hiding from

the meger florida winter. 

My phone had pandora running, listening to the "Rasputina" station. 

It was in my pocket, and rather than taking my hands off the hot coffee

I held to change the channel, i just let anything that was up next play. 

That's when it came on. A giver by Orion Rigel Dommisse

As soon as i heard the strings, I swooned (for lack of a better word.)

hanging on to every word of the song like it was a story.

 I still get chills when i hear it. And i'm not sure if i can express with words 

why this song gets such a strong reaction from me. 

That's the beauty of music though right? Sometimes words aren't necessary.
